How often is too often for burgers? Does that change in the summer?

nope. I barely ever eat red meat myself. It was just a joke about life in burgerland πΊπ²

I guess I was wondering how many meals one can eat burgers for in a week, without feeling bad about it. ;)

@Kabuku
that’s on par with my estimation, and more frequent than I would usually consume red meat.

Maybe I needed more burgers this week; I couldn’t donate blood today due to low iron.

my mom always has to iron up before donating. She usually does a burger the night before

also avoid coffee/tea before/with your meal. They prevent absorption of the iron.

there's chemicals in them that the iron would rather bond to than be digested.

My eyebrow goes up if you have burgers at multiple discrete mealtimes for multiple consecutive days.
So:
T B: eggs & bacon
T L: burger
T D: burger
W B: ham & eggs
W L: burger
W D: burger ← π€¨
Seasons change nothing.

@Wife
Red meat no more than 3x a week is the rough rule here, but if it's processed elsewhere I'll personally limit to once.
But then you can make chicken burgers, turkey burgers and halloumi burgers so I suppose the correct answer is never.
