@33MHz HTTP went from 1.0 to 1.1 to 2.0 to QUIC/3; HTML has gotten all sorts of upgrades from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5. Do you think ActivityPub would just get locked in and ossified harder/faster than HTML/HTTP?
@EchoDunk I was going in a very different direction with this. Say you like Apple products and _also_ like Trump. New Management™ probably doesn't have a good way to let you see the Yay Apple tweets without showing you the Boo Trump tweets.

@EchoDunk I wonder if New Management™ can properly implement some kind of mutual non-interference technology. I'm skeptical it's doable because so many people you don't want to hear about on a particular topic have quite a bit in common with you, but 🍿.
@igmp_join AFAICT the fun parts of driving are the zoom-zoom aspects. Inching along in traffic isn't fun unless you're looking for an excuse to burn down your podcast queue, IMO.
