@thedoctor Been doing a bit of work here too, but had to give up, as the weather was too nice and the garden required some attention. Also, we sold our caravan and the new owners came to pick it up today. End of an era for us.
@33MHz we will be looking at renting cottages for short breaks. Pretty much what we did before having the caravan. Just couldn't justify not selling it, as it was 5.5 years old, and we lost very little money on it. /@thedoctor
@thedoctor ah yes, the garden… ours needs some major attention too, but it is one of our last favourite pastimes. As anything we do with our garden gets ruined by our dogs. But I guess we have to knuckle down and do the bare essentials at least.
@ccp all the plants in my flower beds are pretty low maintenance. Just need to spruce them up every year. Although I may plant some marigolds this year. I've always wanted some. @33MHz
@thedoctor sounds ideal. We really need to get a landscaper or garden designer in to look at our garden to give it an overhaul. It is a really awkward shape and on a slope, so everything we have tried hasn't quite worked. Gardening is not our forté /@33MHz
