Ah. #macos Command+Q to always close applications instead of the in-between thing. Hate apps continuing to run. Sublime Text also has nice behavior when it quits (vs closes).
Mac friends using Monterey: are all third-party apps (i.e. Firefox, Spotify) forced to use (rounded) suqare icons too or are OG icons preserved when you upgrade? #macos
for those who want to know what the report explanation was: "Wake transition timed out after 180 seconds while entering fullwake from darkwake. Suspected bundle: com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily", turn off Power Nap if you got this in a kernel panic #macos
Updating and reinstalling #macOS#HighSierra on my old #MacbookPro (15-inch, Mid 2010). Really hope that it will fix the GPU kernel panics I have been seeing. Maybe Apple have finally offered a software fix for this know problem.
