Should I stay or should I go (change jobs)?

@lechindianer I would default to go. The specifics may say otherwise, but if the potential upside is better, I'd go. Knowing how to transition and learn a new position is a very important skill to have, at the least.

@igmp_join In the end I came to the same conclusion. Let"s see when the new job contract arrives but... I'm excited for the job 😁

@lechindianer I ask myself that question every so often but thus far I haven't pulled the trigger. Hard to overcomb that inertia I suppose.

@thrrgilag Second this. But the hive mind is hard to break up with. @lechindianer

@33MHz @lechindianer @thrrgilag i was talking to friends about leaving jobs and we all concluded that one should try to interview around every year so that the choice to stay at a particular job is more enthusiastic, not because there aren't other jobs.

@igmp_join @thrrgilag @33MHz I've decided to switch jobs BTW. 4 years in the same job is enough if it's your first one. Looking forward for different experiences!
