@skematica Like a generic ebook reader that does ePub well?

@skematica Oh neato! Been thinking about one of those myself, as my current iPad mini is 5 years soon. About time for an upgrade, and the Apple Pencil seems to be utter awesomeness for any artsy explorations I might get up to.

@Streakmachine I am still waffling on whether to get a 12.9" iPad Pro or wait and save up for a full computer. I see a lot of pros to doing both. I could really make good use of both.

@hybotics Same here. For a lot of the stuff I do or want to do, I could go either way. @skematica

@skematica If I get an iPad Pro, I want to use it for 3D CAD, so the larger screen would be much better. There is Shapr 3D [shapr3d.com], which uses the Apple Pencil. I can get the iPad Pro through T-Mobile for $30.00/month after down payment.

@skematica Google Play Books? tbh I *like* iBooks, especially for the scroll feature

@skematica very good alternatives are real books ;) or a real Kindle device. eInk beats the iPad display!

@papierzeit I find it more appealing to read on my retina iPad than on my 100dpi kindle paperwhite …

@Konrad everyone is different and that's a good thing

@skematica I use Notability for PDF reading and markup.

@skematica I also hear good things about GoodNotes. I don't think either of them does ePub, though.

@skematica I recently heard good things about Marvin [itunes.apple.com].
