Apero has a very nice "Hide deleted posts" setting in Preferences.

@peemee Where do we download this from?

@scott Mac App Store. $14.99. Very fine app, lots of features.

@peemee I don't really understand that setting. Why would I want to see deleted posts in the first place?

@hisaac Deleted posts show up in the timeline as the user's name and avatar, with the word "Deleted." They are an annoying waste of space but still a default aspect of Pnut. The setting hides them from view.

@peemee Ahhh, ok. I haven't seen any deleted posts yet, but that makes sense now.

@hisaac Pretty sire you don't see th if you use Riposte. They show up with Broadsword and possibly Noodle.

@peemee I do use Riposte, so that makes sense.

@peemee @hisaac There's the option to have deleted posts in the timeline because the user may want to access a discussion thread from a deleted post, even if the post content itself is not available anymore. :)
