@Wife as a kid I set a bag in a microwave for three minutes. My mom walked in and screamed. I was just staring at the microwave. She thought it was catch fire.
@jacobrealo yep. I remember thinking (as a kid) that if I stood too close to the microwave it would give me cancer, but being totally mesmerized by the way they work.
