@mandy In my limited experience with celebrations of life, jeans would be acceptable as long as they were in good repair (i.e., not the artificially distressed kind). Of course, this is California; your mileage may vary.
@mandy Business casual which means a combination of the two or as long as it’s appropriate enough. I usually wear a shirt over a sweater with neutral colored pants and loafers for example.
@mandy Also you can get away with jeans as long as it’s in good condition (close to new preferably). Should do research before deciding on what to wear and hope you do have something in your closet for any scenario.
