September 11, 2001. #NeverForget Seeing the second plane live on TV, it was impossible to concentrate for the rest of the day. Hard to work when you just want to be with family.
@mandy I was in high school. Most US news websites weren't responding. I wound up pulling down Le Figaro in the library computer room in order to follow news throughout the school day.
@jws I was at my coop internship and the factory had two break rooms with cable TV. I don't even remember now why I walked into the break room but there was an unusual amount of people hanging around.
@mandy I was in my first year in college, and I had to rely on mostly a radio and a major school computer to know what's going on that day. Chilling feeling still.
@mandy I was home getting ready for work when I got a call from a friend telling me to turn the TV on. I sat transfixed for hours and didn't go into work until after lunch. I should've just stayed home. It was a horrible day.
