* 2 parts whisky of choosing
* 2 tsp simple syrup
* 2 dashes Agnostura bitters
* 1 orange slice

@thedoctor tasty. I unfortunately couldn't follow @jdscolam's suggestion of burning the orange. I tried. lighter ran out of fuel and then the candle just wouldn't do it. I'll probably try it again tomorrow and Thursday.

@igmp_join after posting that recipe, I also tried it and recalled I like my old fashioned with less simple syrup (1 tsp). But the rule of 2s is easier to remember. I've never done the burnt orange. @jdscolam

@thedoctor the oranges I've got are super juicy and sweet, so I could probably drop the simple syrup completely if I muddled the slice... But that also makes them impossible to toast at all.
