@33MHz I've been an Apple fanboy since '88, but with the features they are continuing to offer over years make me increasingly a fan of planned obsolescence... #ifaintbroke ....
@33MHz I haven't felt the excitement of Apple Innovation since the first iPhone. Using Apple products in the 90's was sooo exciting, just not really feeling that anymore.
@33MHz you can actually do bullshit bingo for these events. “We can’t wait to see what you do with it” “Install base of latest iOS is xx%, compare that to the other guys” “It’s the best iPhone we ever made”
@MrFresh using an iPhone 8+ myself. Before that one I had a 6 (no S or +). Might get a new one this year because my wife wants to get my 8+ to upgrade her 6s+. Not sure if I want any X models. Maybe if the new ones have touchID again. Not a fan of faceID
@ludolphus From an article title I glanced at yesterday, TouchID is continuing (which I've never used). I refuse to use FaceID. I went from a 6 (my wife and daughter have the 6S) to a 7 about two years ago - still works fine.
@MrFresh I’m sure @blumenkraft is your friend in this. I also liked the squared design of those better than the current slippery rounded design. Square is probably also more practical for stuff that’s inside
@MrFresh I also prefer the smallest phone possible, and sadly I needed a new phone just after the SE became very difficult to acquire. My phone is way too big.
@mandy I say this wholeheartedly (and agree with you), if the Motorola Razr is actually re-released, but with a DECENT price point, I'd hop on it immediately. I really loved everything about it.
