Planning a Dungeons & Dragons campaign and am looking for ideas. What are some of your favorite fantasy tropes or some of your favorite sections from fantasy stories?
@Badenough LLoyd Alexander wrote a story called Wizzard in the Tree. The main trope is gaining rewards for helping a stranger, but it does it in a very silly way. Recommend.
@Wife It would be fun for him to give them a quest in one form, come as a stranger in the middle of the quest to "distract them" and adjust their reward based on how they react to him in alternate form.
