Why the hell do americans say "Pilsener"? It's just called a "Pils" at least here in Germany.... 😅
When I hear "Pilsener" it just sounds wrong in my ears.

they are actually different things

Pils == German style
Pilsener == Bohemian style
Pilsner == American style
