@Streakmachine Most of Japanese can't use kanji perfectly! That is difficult for us too. Sometimes I can’t remember the shapes of kanji when handwriting π
@StreakmachineCharacter Amnesia [languagelog.ldc.upenn.edu]. Though my Wikipedia trawling also scared up that the rise of computer input methods in fact broadened the number of characters in active use (since you can type in what you mean and pick the character from a menu). // @kyo
