A couple weeks ago we bought this house, pictured in February snow. Total gut rehab. Some structural issues! Lots of other issues. Immediately: a couple walls, roof patching, tree. :-D #struggleisreal /@kabuku
@33MHz Wow. we bought one built in 1945. The WWII supply chain then was largely the town dump and some barns being torn down. We may have broken even but also broke a lot of other stuff.
@prometheus I find it fun to uncover these weird and bad things in old houses, though. Feels great to replace or fix something that you won't have to fix again. #fingersCrossed
