@joanna A few weeks later I lost my phone and all the media stored on the sd card in it. Yep, that live show was gone. And the band hadn’t posted it to their site yet, so they were understandably livid about the whole affair. 🥴

@joanna you just highlighted one of the downsides of playing locally vs. streaming. I went to a live show once and as a friend of the band, was asked to record the entire thing on my phone. I did and as a thanks, was able to keep it. /1

@igmp_join I know some folks use it as a streaming service. I didn’t recognise this until recently. It just isn’t in my nature to stream. Like you, I play locally too. I don’t even stream podcasts. :p
