One of my #slack workplaces deprecated whatever version of the Slack "app" I'm running, so it now rejects me using the app unless I upgrade. But the Linux version doesn't have an upgrade. -_-
Derr. Because #slack uses Javascript to determine my timezone, instead of using my profile's settings, it displays all the times wrong. Firefox's basic fingerprint-blocking screws it up. Are they in UTC? It's very hard to tell relative time!
#Slack allows you edit posts, under some circumstances. It looks like unlimited edits until a certain amount of time has passed. Does it let you see previous edits?
Ha. Our #slack doesn't let us delete messages, only edit them. Person pasted their password into the company general channel. It's "deleted" (edited to be blank), so it shows up with a strikethrough.
Oh, #slack maybe lets you edit or delete messages and maybe only within a time frame, depending on how your admin has it set.I can only edit, only within a little while. -_-
A good reminder for those who run a #slack team that there are better options out there. ;) >> @33MHz: "Your workspace is getting close to the 10k message limit" #slack
