I re-installed winamp, because it's the best music player for windows as far as I can tell. Slightly better than VLC for _music_ in particular.

And I set it to order all the music on my computer by length. And hit play, yesterday, starting somewhere in songs of length 3:58.

Today, I'm in songs of length 3:56. Apparently I've got a track of someone just kinda screaming for 3 minutes and 56 seconds. That was entertaining to find.

@igmp_join Linux players are all basically api calls to the same couple libraries, with no UI to speak of.

@33MHz VLC is available on ... Ubuntu at least, so debian should support it. It's not quite as fancy as winamp, but it's not bad by any means.
