Does iOS tv.app really not work (bug) with video wire transferred from iTunes? Tried it for first time on a trip. Truly sucks.

@jgordon Yeah I had problems with tv app and iTunes. I filed a bug. I've not tried it with 10.3 yet as I misplaced my iPad a week or two ago and can't seem to find it.

@jgordon Really bugged me as that was my #1 complaint with the old video app - it was unreliable for iTunes Home Sharing whereas the Apple TV has no problem at all.

@jgordon It requires an internet connection to play videos, even if they're stored locally on the device. Pretty ridiculous.

@jgordon IKR?? I had the same issue on a plane. I ended up buying in-flight internet just so I could launch the damn app. 🙄
