@Andrew AFAIK that's still an iOS limitation with YouTube/video.

@33MHz with YouTube premium the app does support playing audio in the background. Don’t have it so I can’t confirm but app description shows it does.

@ludolphus I often see a pop up for this if I switch apps while a video is playing. No reason for me to get Red (did they changed the name to Premium?).

@jacobrealo have not heard about red but yes there is YouTube premium, think it also has music and tv shows/movies. And no more ads
