Don’t ask me why, but I called AT&T about landline phone service. Being in California, they had to say the company was phasing it out.
Did the company not tell customer support operators about
CPUC ruling from Thursday that said they can’t pull out
[docs.cpuc.ca.gov]?

By the way, they won’t examine your wiring without ordering service and if the issue is indoors, the customer is on the hook. Not good.
