Ok lessons learned, if there is a sign in front of the store saying "Closed for inventory" then you don't just kick in the door to open it. The shopkeeper didn't like that at all and offered us directly a Magic Missile.

@papierzeit haha. In Kingdoms and Castles, there's a door I knocked on and it woke up a witch, and I think now I have to pay her off every 5 years.

@joe that's true, my best run in the last few days was up to level 9. Getting better slowly. I used to play this as a kid.
