I created a new pnut bot that creates a message in a Parter room every time a new Bitcoin block is found.

You can subscribe to the room here: https://patter.chat/1790

The bot is just new and not running fail proof yet so it could still HALT and catch fire.

@unixb0y how about an hardware kind of thing? something like an Open Dime you can exchange for a beer.
beer dime. ;)

so yeah before thinking about implementation I think you should investigate more whays the use case and the user model then I can give better info on what tech to use 😊

the hard thing with a token that “represents” a beer (aside from the aspect that not all beers cost the same) is that crypto coins cant be destroyed so you can’t “redeem” a coin for a real world consumable item and then the other party somehow “destroys” the coin
212577
if you want beer giftcards that can be bought via crypto, maybe just create a beer giftcard company and sell those cards on Bitrefill.
212576
you guys should really think why you’d want a beer token. esp since every beer doesn’t cost the same amount.
212575
lightning vs a token is a very different thing not just marketing

Anything old?
