I took a quick look at the bees this afternoon, in the rain. The hive has felt light recently, so I wanted to get a sense of their health… I didn't to a real inspection, and I should, but it was raining!
I mixed a high sugar-content sugar syrup and fed them. They immediately took to it very favorably. That made me feel good. They needed this. Perfect pick-me-up on a rainy day. #🐝
