Clay Shirky will be sparring again with Jaron Lanier in my mind the next few months, as I warm up to a new season of beekeeping with L.L. Langstroth. Shirky's '94 book that I'm reading now is preventing me from throwing him out before the fight starts.

@33MHz I'm quite fond of Aral Balkan myself, but I don't know of any books he's written. He /is/ fairly outspoken, though.
