@33MHz it’s my son. I cannot even begin to describe it. He has no respect for anyone or anything. I cannot trust a word he says to be true. Has zero discipline.
@33MHz We learned today that he has not turned in any notes sent to the school when he has been out sick. He played hookie today. He manipulates his grandparents and lies to them. Because of the I excused absences, we now have to go to court to explain
@33MHz My wife has given him a note to turn in each time he has been sick. And he was too damn lazy to turn them in. He literally puts as little effort as he can into anything he does.
@jasonechols Argh, that sounds rough. Helpless. My 4yo is having a terrible time going to sleep recently. I can see how this could be the same but different in 12 years.
@irondraconis He does. He plays Call of Duty and Madden mostly. But he’s so emotionally invested. He sits up there and yells at his friends constantly @33MHz
@jasonechols Not wanting to armchair quarterback. Sounds like a really tough time for you, + your whole family. Some youth thrive when they are empowered into their multiplayer gaming communities - it can be a motivator. For other's it can be detrimental.
