Coding community! I'd like to get involved with some open source projects, but I'm BRAND NEW to coding & Python & #100DaysOfCode. What are some good rules of thumb to consider before contributing to such - a certain level of experience, etc? Thanks!
Can anyone point me to a "Baby Steps With GitHub" type of tutorial? I have no code to submit yet, but I do want to start learning how to use it now. First thing I'd like to do is log my #100DaysOfCode progress there. I've already forked the repo. Thanks!
Day 2: Worked through #Python strings - changing case using methods, concatenation, stripping whitespace. Have to complete the whitespace code exercise b4 moving on. Worked on the data input code of my rocket liftoff acceleration program #100DaysOfCode
Day 1: I’ve set up Sublime Text as my text editor on my MacBook Air, starting again today w/Chapter 2 - Variables and Simple Data Types from the text below. Difference this time is I’m building a project as I learn. Codecademy course also. #100DaysOfCode
D8 - #100DaysOfCode. Continued today with #Python strings on Codecademy, but covered those and methods in the Python Crash Course by Eric Mathes, over the last two days. With that, I started coding my personal Python project today!
