@bayprogrammer I would argue Ruby gives you slightly more than Lisp because of its practices of "take-1-block-as-your-work" pattern and that it gives you OO. OO is one of those things where a sip is brilliant, but a gulp is disastrous.

@phoneboy Ha! Sorta. The fuidity of the conversation participants of social media is nice. I would love to be able to carve out smaller groups in IRC without explicitly setting up a channel, inviting, etc.

I'm inspired to consider a CLI social network. What would that look like? Would it reduce my desktop window-clutter or add to my distractions by being as prevalent as `make` et al?

@bayprogrammer @doctorlinguist - Currently, unfortunately, The Weather Co charges for all the APIs I know about. Wunderground is cheap, but not free. NOAA.gove has something, though I've never used it.
