@33MHz@lechindianer Does having a slow node slow the whole thing down? As long as it's not the control plane, it should just … ignore that it's a bad node and hopefully load balance appropriately.
@igmp_join i'm sure it's off the hot path, I just don't know if there's *no* cost to an uncooperative node. (I'd guess it might have a hard time coming up with a workload that took less effort than the startup cost, but no expert) /@lechindianer
@33MHz@lechindianer i don't even know what workload I'd run. I'd like to see how things behave under stress, see what load balancing looks like. The hard problems happen more often at load, so bad systems makes it easier to see the issues.
