Between Brexit, the pandemic, and the vastly different views of the devolved nations—compared to those of England—I think the future of UK as a union is really under threat.

It’s clear England’s views no longer represent the rest of the UK.

@neil I agree. As an Englander I really dislike how insular England is. Feels like we’re all about the union when it suits us but v happy to discount what’s happening outside England for the vast majority of the time.

@po I’m English & resident in Wales. Prior to lockdown, Wales repeatedly asked Rishi Sunak to either extend the furlough scheme or bring forward the Job Support scheme. He said no. England goes in lockdown and suddenly he changes his mind. Hardly fair.
