@Kabuku sorry to hear that! At least your public health authority / employer still mandates two weeks isolation if you test positive. It is five days should I test positive.
@thedoctor My employer is clearing people five days after positive test. Someone I work with tested postitive Wed. last week and is still testing positive but he was there today without a mask and pleased as punch. Sigh.
@Kabuku He has stopped testing because he kept testing positive. Apparently that happens with some people and they test positive for weeks/months but are supposedly not contageous. I'm wearing my mask around him, though. @thedoctor
@joanna@Kabuku my hospital doesn’t re-test patients that were Covid + and are now 21-90 days from their first positive test. It’s because of the likelihood they’ll test positive w/o an active infection.
@joanna@Kabuku if patients develop new symptoms after the initial infection resolves, then we re-test them. But patients that are Covid + for days 0-21 remain in Covid isolation precautions.
