I got a new start menu for #linux_mint that includes emoji in the search, so you can type something like "thinking", hit enter, and you have thinking_face emoji in clipboard.
Then I'm using xdotool in a few little bash scripts on #Linux_Mint with keyboard shortcuts, to sort work/personal FF into different workspaces at the press of a button. As well as my E-mail and comms programs. I've assigned the shortcuts to extra keys.
To move pop-up notifications to a second monitor, edit /usr/share/cinnamon/js/ui/messageTray.js with `let monitor = Main.layoutManager.monitors[1] || Main.layoutManager.primaryMonitor;`. Easy-peasy!
#Thunderbird finally updated [blog.thunderbird.net] on #LinuxMint! Will take a bit to get used to the UI changes. The calendar integration is even better, already noticing some better displays.
Speaking of #linux_mint, this Thunderbird addon [addons.thunderbird.net] along with mint 20.3 (in beta) integrates the calendar applet with Thunderbird! yay [linuxmint.com]
