The diffing that goes on behind the scenes is a bit magical and I've learned to trust it a bit more. Regardless, now that layout data isn't being reset between view updates, the scrolling and inline adjustments to layout are smooth and imperceptible.
Previously, I was using an ObservedObject to hold layout data. This allowed precise control of when the view graph was updated but the data wasn't persisting across updates. State wrapped values do persist but you loose some precision and flexibility.

@Indigo that’s the most I’ve spent in London. We toured there for almost a week and it was fantastic. I know what you mean though, big cities are big. I really dislike Toronto now when I visit in the summers.
Tonight I’m watching a personal favourite, Hanna. Such beautiful and subtle action movie. The Chemical Brothers did the score, directed by Joe Wright, and features a few of my favourites actors: Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, and Eric Bana. #movieclub
@33MHz I’m fortunate my local pizza place is around the corner and quite cheap. Other food is hard to come by, Saarbrücken isn’t a bustling metropolis.
