I'm currently working on a C++ wrapper for the Pnut API so I can reuse it in whatever client I wanna build. This is/was the main hinderance for making Arachis available everywhere...
Haven’t been doing much Arachis recently because I’ve been mainly focusing on brushing up on my C++ and studying compilers. But I’m getting back into it 😁
@hackernews@33MHz When I first tried RN a few years ago I had a lot of problems getting native perf., specially on animations that ran on the JS thread. Now they have means of making sure that the animations do not depend on the JS thread, works wonders.
@33MHz@hackernews 200% agree! I *love* Flutter but to be honest, I think that RN has reached a mass of libraries and support for native options that is hard to ignore. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@muncman Enums man, enums are my biggest pet peeve. I love doing state machines and enums are such a good fit for the events. Replicating that in Flutter was A PAIN.
