@Kabuku Yes! Trying to earn living making apps, but still working on music on the side. :) I still need like a week of work on my next album and I'm ready to put it on Bandcamp. Thing is... when will I actually start that week of work, I don't know... 😁
Also I can't say anytihng about it but I'm working on another app for a client, and I'm super proud of what we're doing. So take that, stinky 2020 and your nothingness and brokeness and suckyness, because 2021 is gonna rock. I have spoken.
@nitinkhanna In this case there's no syntax analysis actually, Siri just recognizes that you're using a sentence that has been set by the app, and tells the app "your user just said that sentence you said they would say" and then the app does what it wants
@nitinkhanna Siri is integrated to the app, you're the one typing the sentence that you'll have to say to trigger the action. It can be "I just had a coffee" or anything you want. :)
There's a site [log-a-day.com] wihch shows how the app works, but the screenshots are outdated and the tutorial is incomplete. I'm working on it, should be ready for the app release.
@ccp Development and updates have slowed down while in beta test but Log A Day will continue to evolve after its release. More "Pick of the moment" cards, more charts, etc. /@joanna@streakmachine
On launch date, Log A Day will be available in English and in French. Thanks to @streakmachine, it will also be available in Swedish in a future version. I also want to thank @ccp and @joanna for their participation to the beta test program.
After two months of testing, my new iOS app "Log A Day" is ready to meet its future users. I'm currently preparing the appstore screenshots and copywriting, it's tedious but a very nice feeling nonetheless. Now let's hope for a smooth App Review process...
Learning Flutter. I kinda like it. Integration with VSCode is great. Not a big fan of Dart, though, for the moment. Feels like a mixed bag of influences.
Ah, /@apero works on macOS Big Sur (Intel), good. There's a few weird UI bugs here and there but nothing terrible. Now I'm curious to know how it behaves on M1 machines. Rosetta2 should do its job, in principle, so it should be ok too.
@Streakmachine It's already real fast in a VM, I guess it would be phenomenal on real hardware, ahah. This is an experimental OS and really not ready for daily use (imo), but it's so fun! And BeOS really had some interesting features.
@keita Currently working on an iOS app for a client, and also polishing my own app to be released in January. I still don't know what I'll do after that. The 'joys' of being indie! 😁 I'm happy with my choices, though. Life has seriously improved since.
