@33MHz Tomatoes are definitely early this year around here, and delicious. Zucchinis have started forming fruits, melons too (my first time doing melons) but the slugs eat everything, ahah. Peppers are still flowering but I can see fruit buds.
@muncman It's the best time for feedback! Later when you're used to the app you can inconsciously work around its flaws, but right now they're obvious to you - it's super useful for me. Also I love seeing users using the app in ways that surprise me!
@muncman Oh ok, for me the unit is purely descriptive but you're using it as a goal. An "Exercise" category with a unit of "ten minutes", another with a unit of "half an hour" maybe, then you tap the one you achieve? It's nice! I didn't think about that. 😄
It's hard to translate that to the user. I don't want to add an assistant to push them to do things in the app, but on the other hand I'm a bit afraid of how the users experience the first days using it and if they see the real potential of this thing.
One small frustration I have with Log A Day is that it's an app that really reveals its qualities when you use it regularly. But if you just use it once or twice there's no much point to it.

Time-based units like 'short', 'long', 'minute', 'hour'?
Well it didn't occur to me that someone would want that when I initially made the app, then kind of forgot about this list. But I could add a few ones, I have no issue with it.
After ten days of rain the vegetable garden has gained some sort of independence... Many things are growing that I did not plant. Lots of work in perspective!
Log A day [itunes.apple.com], my habit-tracking app for iOS, has been updated with redesigned charts. I'm quite happy with it, but I think I'm biased... 😁
